As anticipated in our pre-election edition, the effective ban on onshore wind turbines in England has been lifted by the new Labour Government. Changes to the National Planning Policy announced by Chancellor Rachel Reeves, just four days after the election victory, has removed the barriers which previously rendered it effectively impossible to obtain planning (read more here).
