Enercon E-138 Wind Turbine

The Enercon E-138 is the only Enercon turbine model currently offered by Renewables First. Designed for medium wind speed sites, the E-138 combines a large 138-metre rotor with a rated output of 4.26 MW, making it suitable for commercial, industrial and utility-scale renewable energy projects. It is particularly effective where there is significant onsite electricity demand or sufficient land available for a larger turbine installation.

The E-138 EP3 is available with hub heights ranging from 81 metres to 160 metres, allowing the turbine configuration to be optimised for local wind conditions and planning constraints. Its large rotor diameter enables excellent energy capture, particularly on medium wind speed sites.

Energy Production

At a site with an average wind speed of 7 m/s, the E-138 can achieve an annual energy production of approximately 13.1 GWh. This level of generation can make a significant contribution towards reducing grid electricity consumption and lowering carbon emissions for large energy users.
