Do I need to improve my insulation?

Do I need to improve my insulation?

It is always a good idea to consider insulation improvements at the same time as installing a heat pump system. Any measures that reduce the heat demand of the building will allow a smaller and less expensive heat pump to be used.

However, the only essential improvements are those required to qualify for the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). These are loft insulation and cavity wall insulation, where these measures are recommended on your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

Are you considering a water-source or ground-source heat pump project ?

Renewables First have considerable experience and full project capability, from initial feasibility study through to system design and installation.

The first step towards a water-source or ground-source heat pump project is tell us about your project. The best way of doing this is via our tailored online Enquiry Form.

Once complete, one of our engineers will evaluate the site potential before contacting you to discuss the next stage of your project.
